The 2013 Pacific Northwest Middle and High School Judo Championships will be held on Saturday, 11 May 2013 at Kentridge High School in Kent, Washington
The 2013 Puget Sound High School “All Star” Team Event was held on Saturday, 20 April 2013 at Kentwood High School in Kent, Washington.
The 2013 Sensei Jim Onchi Memorial Shiai (formerly known as the Obukan Judo Tournament) will be held on March 30, 2013 in Portland, Oregon at the PCC Cascade Gymnasium. Tournament information can be found here.

The 2013 Inland Empire Classic Judo Tournament will be held on Saturday 16 March 2013 in Spokane, Washington. This will be a test event for the 2013 IJF rules with a 1.5 hour rules clinic starting at 830am at the venue. The entry packet is available for download.
The 2013 Judo NW Referee and Coach Seminar was held on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Washington (dojo space) in Seattle, Washington. The seminar focused on updating Judo NW athletes, coaches, instructors, and referees about the 2013 International Judo Federation rules that were passed in December 2012 and are scheduled to be implemented starting March 22, 2013 within the United States. The featured clinician for this seminar is Sensei Gary Takemoto, IJF-A, & 2013 Paris Grand Slam Referee. The moderator/facilitator of the seminar will be Calvin Terada, IJF-A, Chair NW Referee Committee.

The 2013 Washington State Judo Championships will be held in Sequim, Washington on Saturday, 9 March 2013. This is the first time that the State Judo Championships will be held on the Olympic Peninsula.
